Sales Account Manager
Reports to: Vice President of Sales
SUMMARY
ADD Systems is a recognized leader in petroleum distribution software, delivering innovative solutions that help our customers operate more efficiently and profitably. We are seeking a driven, relationship?focused Sales Account Manager who is passionate about helping clients improve their business through technology.
In this role, you will identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities while also nurturing and expanding relationships within an assigned territory. Approximately 70% of your focus will be on generating net?new business, with 30% dedicated to managing and growing existing accounts.
You will represent ADD Systems’ suite of SaaS and on?premise solutions—including ADD eStore, ADD Energy E360, and ADD AI (Atlas Intelligence)—and leverage our proven sales model to maximize revenue growth and market share.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Present and sell ADD Systems products and services to prospective and existing clients
• Develop targeted action plans and schedules to identify prospects and forecast activity
• Follow up on leads and referrals generated through field activity and internal efforts
• Identify, qualify, and engage sales prospects across assigned accounts/territory
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations
• Build and maintain strong, long?term client relationships
• Identify and resolve client concerns to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records in CRM tools, including weekly plans and territory analyses
• Communicate market feedback, product opportunities, and customer insights to internal teams
• Contribute to team goals and support cross?functional initiatives

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participate in marketing events, trade shows, seminars, and industry conferences
• Collaborate with Business Development team to target and develop new opportunities

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
• Strong ability to persuade, influence, and build trust with decision?makers
• Self?motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory
• Skilled in developing and delivering professional presentations
• Strong written communication skills, including proposal creation and editing
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication abilities
• Knowledge of sales promotion techniques; typically acquired through a Bachelor’s degree plus 5–10 years of sales or marketing experience
• Experience in software sales or petroleum distribution industries preferred
• Proven track record in meeting sales goals, closing deals, territory management, prospecting, negotiation, and gaining product knowledge
• Professional appearance and ability to represent the company positively
• Willingness to travel up to 60%, including occasional weekend events
• Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed

WORKING CONDITIONS
This role supports both office and home?office environments. Travel to client sites is required and will include overnight or occasional weekend/evening commitments.
Compensation: Base salary $60,000–$80,000 plus aggressive uncapped commissions plan.
Typical OTE ranges from $160,000 to $450,000+ depending on performance.
