The Senior Operations & Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the business-related activities and financial results of the Delivery business component; accountable for achieving revenue growth, profitability, staff retention, and customer satisfaction goals. The Senior Operations & Logistics Manager is responsible for developing effective teams through leadership, motivation, and empowerment, while acting within the scope of the company’s core values, objectives and policies to accomplish divisional and corporate goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Establishes goals, expectations, and benchmarks in conjunction with delivery business; monitors the level of achievement; develop an action plan to accomplish goals.
• Hires, trains, develops, challenges, and motivates delivery team, inspires to successful accomplishment of excellent customer service and operational goals related to sales, profitability, and expenses.
• Maintain the Delivery App Administration Panel.
• Confirms that all reports required by law and required by the company are kept and maintained.
• Deliver unique customer service solutions that align with company goals and are champions for employee achievement and development.
• Initiates and leads business change efforts to maximize desired results; evaluate other competitive retailer practices; monitor the effectiveness and implementation of continuous improvement programs; and provide communication and feedback for process improvements within the organization.
• Analyzes equipment, expenses, product, payroll hours, and training and how these relate to the divisional profitability and adjusts as needed to maintain profitability: encouraging and recommending activities that are designed to increase revenue.
• Analyzes industry trends to identify business opportunities and promote growth in sales; reports any changes in the competition.
• Handles customer complaints and interacts and listens to customers for appropriate resolution.
• Identifies safety issues affecting our employees, customers, and vendors; reporting problems or potential problems to appropriate personnel and following up to ensure they are corrected.
• Identifies and recommends site specific marketing strategies as well as division wide strategies and works effectively with other departments to implement these strategies.
• Disseminates company communications, policies, procedures, and practices and communicates back to the corporate office needed information.
• Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations regarding safety, security, age-restricted sales and employment law.
• Interviews, hires, and recommends the most capable and qualified individuals, screens for ability to handle the duties and responsibilities.
• Helps employees grow and develop through fair, honest performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
• At least 2 years management experience, preferably in the delivery or cstore market
• Able to attend in house training, seminars, and web-based training
• Maintain confidentiality in all areas of financial reporting and company business
• Maintain a valid driver’s license – complying with fleet safety policy
• Self-motivated; able to work independently; organize and plan efficiently
• Able to delegate tasks in an effective manner
• Effective communicator; listening, speaking, writing, mathematical concepts
• Team player, interpersonal and leadership qualities, works well with others to achieve common goals
• Able to analyze information to make sound business decisions and make short- and long-term goals
