This top-tier Finance (CPA) Executive within the Convenience Store- Retail, Petroleum, Financial Services and PE industries has over 20 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A and leadership. He has worked for some of the most sought-after companies in our industry.

Accomplishments:

• Responsibility over all finance and administrative functions of the firm: Accounting, FP&A, Data/Reporting, Risk Management, Payroll, Human Resources, and outsourced IT. Total staff of 10 team members.

• Executed $70M+ of incremental senior-secured term financing to cover project overages and delay.

• Established a new $35M+ working capital revolver with a national ag lender.

• Led a complete overhaul of employee pay, health insurance, retirement plan and fringe benefit plans ahead of pre-startup hiring in 2023, when headcount grew from 30 to 120 FTEs.

• Reporting directly to the CEO and Shareholder, was responsible for accounting, financial reporting, treasury management, tax reporting/strategy, and overall capital allocation strategy of the convenience store and other business units.

• Managed a team of 25 total FTEs, plus a significant outsourced retail accounting team (PDI). program.

• Led the acquisition and successful integration of two petroleum businesses.

• Other key team responsibilities included monthly financial reporting, quarterly forecasts, annual budget process, new store/rebuild pro-forma modeling, divest modeling, enterprise value calculation for long-term incentive plan, business case for capital investments and many other ad-hoc analyses.
