Scope:

A highly goal-oriented individual with extensive experience in financial reporting in and for public and private companies (with $29+MM-$499+MM revenue ranges); and establishing accounting departments from ground-up; accounting office operations and management, Private/cloud ERP system deployment, HR management, payroll operations and risk management/oversight. Additionally, I am experienced in corporate treasury management, FP&A, regulatory (SEC) reporting (10K, 10Q, 8K filings), and SOX compliance.

  • 25+ years of progressive accounting experience as Corporate Controller/Financial Controller; and Principal Accounting Officer for publicly traded and private companies.

  • Managed books with as little as 75 lines on the chart of accounts and as large as 770+ account lines for assets, liabilities, equity, sales, and expenses.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of SOX, US FASB (GAAP,) and IFRS.

  • Created and managed a new department (called Shared Services) to handle

  • Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, and administrative services to high-value

  • clients.

  • Coordinated and established credit lines with financial institutions, business construction loans, and equity-split partnerships.

  • Experience raising capital through 504/Reg-D offerings.

  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, assets divestitures, corporate repositioning strategies, external audit coordination, KPI measurements, and MD&A preparation.

  • Strong familiarity with MS Dynamics, OGSYS SQL, Intact (later Sage Intact), QB Enterprise

  • Strong knowledge of refined product distribution of petroleum-based products for

  • retail sales at company-owned gas stations and C-stores internal audit.

  • procedures, focusing on Financial, IT, and Operational processes. Developed and analyzed cost vs. revenue metrics to monitor staff performance.

  • Financial analysis to evaluate, liquidity, solvency, profitability, efficiency, and market trends.
