  • Delivered the first profitable trading years for the ethanol desk by overhauling commercial strategy and risk management practices.

  • Doubled direct business with end users year-over-year while growing total volume marketed from 300 million to 800 million gallons.

  • Integrated rail costs, payment terms, transit timing, and demurrage into decision-making to create a more financially transparent trading model.

  • Directed cross-functional collaboration on carbon strategy, including 45Z and 45Q tax credits, RINs, and low-carbon fuel pathway optimization.

  • Developed a high-performing trading team by training and empowering direct reports to lead in areas such as hedging, client relationships, and P&L accountability.

  • Generated multimillion-dollar savings by restructuring the natural gasoline purchasing strategy across ethanol plants.

  • Managed positions at key terminals and executed risk strategies across corn, ethanol, and energy markets.
