They have decades of experience across liquid fuels including gas, diesel, fuel oil, bunker, ethanol, biodiesel, and renewable diesel. Their skillset includes research & development, sales, management, and executive level management.

Accomplishments:

  • Full P&L responsibilities for a $700 million global business, achieving higher gross & net margins and EBITDA compared to competitors.

  • Transitioned an underperforming North American business in the red with approximately $50 million in revenue to a global >$1 billion NASDAQ listed business (IOSP) whose stock price increased from a low in ’09 of $2.44 to $47 in January ’16.

  • Lead the effort to secure a first of its kind, followed by two (2) additional approvals, California Air Resources Board (CARB) Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) emissions reduction strategy, branded as VESTA®, for biomass enabling biodiesel blends up to twenty (20) percent to be sold while earning valuable LCFS credits.

  • Installed a Chief Operating Officer to manage the day-to-day business while focusing on the CARB modifications to both the LCFS, Alternate Diesel Fuel Regulation (ADF) and Low Emissions Diesel (LED) program.

  • Oversight of Fuel Additives Division (with revenue of $700 million globally) managing all divisions, including sales, research, supply, technical services and the associated department head direct reports, while reporting to the CEO.

  • As Chief Operating Officer, accelerated company growth, doubling net profit in the first year.
